Family Pictures

We had family photos taken last September with the wonderful Gina Cristine.  We went to Lincoln Park Zoo one quiet Thursday morning and despite a rough start with Isla, Gina got some great pictures.

I love that last one.  Her smile is the best.  :)

Catch Up

After a good nine month hiatus, I think it’s time I brush this thing off and get back to documenting our life.  What do you think?

Let’s quickly catch up.

Between all of the birthday celebrations, May brought many, many trips to the park.

June was a flurry of pools, sprinklers, sunshine, and a wonderful week spent with Stephanie’s extended family in Munster.

The sunshine fun obviously continued in July, along with a visit from Uncles Bub & Joey and a trip to Ohio to see Nate’s family.

August.  More of the same.  Parks, trains, dinners out, a quick visit from Uncle Josh, and Isla was officially potty trained.

Watching the trains with my girl.

In September Isla’s hair got really long and Stephanie went away for the weekend solo to stand up in Cousin Sarah’s wedding.

November, who knows?  Not many pictures were taken, so it must have been pretty quiet.  Thanksgiving happened, I know that much.

December brought Grandma Jones and Aunt Jan to Chicago for Christmas.

Unfortunately, our camera wasn’t taken out much in the past 9 months, so pictures are limited.  Luckily, our phones were there to document it all.  Lots to see on Nate’s and Stephanie’s Instagram accounts.

All caught up?  Maybe?  Probably not, but that’s good enough for now.  Nate and Stephanie worked, Isla grew and was adorable, we were all one big happy family.
